Updates
The PLL18 conference was a huge success!
Our thanks go to everyone who was involved.
Check out some photos of the conference here.
Conference Handbook
A pdf version of the conference program is now available here. It lists all the presentations, events and other important information you will need. There is no need to print it out, however, because you will be given a printed copy at registration. The final schedule will be available as a separate page at the conference.
Maps
Not sure how to get to the campus?
Remember there are two separate venues and it takes 10 to 15 minutes to walk between them. Also, you will need to take a different bus depending on what day/time you are arriving: check the program carefully so you know which campus to head to.
Here are some maps that will help you get there:
- SOLAC (D block), where the papers will be held
The 18th International Conference on Pragmatics and Language Learning will take place at Kobe University, Kobe, Japan from 16th to 19th of July, 2010.
Kobe University is located in the Rokko area of Kobe, just three stops on the Hankyu line from downtown Sannomiya. The conference will take place on two locations on campus; Rokko Centennial Hall and SOLAC. Check the schedule to make sure you arrive at the right place.
The schedule for presentations is now available online. Presenters are requested to check their room and time...
There is no official conference hotel and no on-campus accommodation. We recommend participants stay in the Sannomiya area (downtown Kobe) or the Shin-Kobe area (convenient to the Shinkansen tracks).
