Pre-dinner reception
Saturday 18th July
This event is complimentary and will be held on the Tsurukabuto campus from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. Due to funding constraints, we are unable to offer a complete dinner, so please consider this event as "pre-dinner drinks": a chance to meet and socialize with other conference members before heading out for dinner on the town in smaller groups.

Sunday 19th July
This ticketed event will cost 6000 yen and take place in a traditional Japanese restaurant located at the Shu-shin-kanl sake brewery. The Nada area of Kobe, where the university is located, is well known for its sake. The meal will include seasonal vegetables, fish, meat, and original hand-made tofu. A complimentary bus will transport participants from the conference site to the dinner. PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NO LONGER SELLING TICKETS FOR THIS EVENT
Walking tours of Kobe
Prior to the conference, some undergraduate students of Kobe University will be arranging informal walking tours of the local area. Places are limited, and depending on the tour there may be some minor costs involved. Further details will be posted here soon.
